After a great couple of days on Hayling we head over to the New forest where we used to go alot when our son was at uni at southampton and have missed the area. We stop off at the windsurfing shop at Calshot where I buy a lovely £40 uj for my raceboard - more of this later !!! We then head over to the 'Secret spot' at the end of Tanner Lane near Lymington a most wonderful place :) via Lepe, Beaulieu and the New Forest including lots of ponies :) We arrive at the beach and park by the water for lunch, in the afternoon a little breeze comes so I rig big and head on the longboard for a cruise. First stop Lymington followed by a trip over to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight which was hard going as the closer I got to the island the wind became light and gusty :( I stopped on the beach and picked Mag up a small rock souvenir before heading back. This to wasn;t easy as the wind was light and the solent choppy and I had to keep out of the way of the ferry !!! I managed to get back to the van okay and packed up and headed to another top free overnight spot near Hurst Castle - we even managed to walk along the shingle bank to the castle as the sun set :)

Friday 4th July - we are back home in Felixstowe and I go to use my lovely new uj and discover the black extension missing !!!! :( :( :( I must have left it at Tanner Lane - if anyone picked it up please email me - squirrell4@talktalk.net - thank you.
